THE MOUNT

Stringy Bark Bushwalks Explore a bush retreat with stunning views as far as Bathurst. This property is situated on a mount which includes sprawling remnant bushland that covers several properties including the Newbridge cemetery. It also has regrowth, native grasses and flora, and a significant  variety of native wildlife as well as  great views to the North and North-East.

Visit this bush  property to enjoy a bush walk and stunning views. A circular walk which takes approximately 20 minutes with an easy-medium grade can be taken around the property. While the main house and garden is wheelchair / pram friendly from parking to viewing area beside the house the second half of the walk is not accessible to wheelchairs / prams.

The second walk is a “wheeled walk” to the dam at the bottom of Stringybark Rd (approx. 2km round trip), and the third walk is the bush walk with lookout points along the boundary fence. The garden  and  house are based on permaculture design, more work yet  to be done.

Please note These are bush walks requiring some level of fitness, sun protection and sensible comfortable walking shoes are a must.
