Stringy Bark Bushwalks explore a bush retreat with stunning views as far as Bathurst. This property is situated on a mountain which includes sprawling remnant bushland that covers several properties including the Newbridge cemetery. It also has regrowth, native grasses and flora and a significant variety of native wildlife as well as great views to the North and North-East.Visit this bush property to enjoy a bush walk with spectacular views. A circular walk which takes approximately 20 minutes with an easy/medium grade can be taken around the property, While the main house and garden is wheelchair/pram friendly from parking to viewing area beside the house, the second half of the walk is not accessible for wheelchairs/pramsThe second walk is a “wheeled walk” to the dam at the bottom of Stringy Bark Road (approximately 2km round trip) and the third walk is the bush walk with lookout points along the boundary fence. The garden and house are based on a permaculture design with more work yet to be done.This year there will be a fourth self-guided walk approximately 1 hour around the boundary fence line. In the garden new work includes a new rock wall around a small pond and there will be market stall with a variety of products.Sunday 20th at 11 am Sally Neaves from the Ecco Hub Blayney will be giving a presentation on permaculture principals on site.
